Having AC Trouble? Check These Things:

Sometimes our technicians find that a customer's AC problem is due to something quite simple - such as their thermostat being set incorrectly, their system being off, or their circuit breaker being tripped. Before you call our team for expert repair it could be beneficial to check a few things on your system, to make sure your AC related issue isn't being caused by something you can easily fix at home. • Make sure your thermostat is on, is set to cool, and the desired room temperature is set higher than the current ambient temperature.
• Check you circuit breaker panel to ensure that your cooling system breaker is on.
• Ensure that your system switch is set to on. This switch is typically a traditional toggle switch that may have a red cover plate.
• Change your furnace filter and re-start your furnace.
• If your thermostat was or the system power was off, after turning the system on give it a few minutes; many AC systems have a time-delay function on start-up.
• If your main unit is blowing cool air, but not cooling as much as it should, check your outdoor unit to make sure there is nothing preventing airflow through the outdoor coil. PLEASE NOTE: Be very careful not to damage the fines on your outdoor coil and call us if you need help!
